St Donat Golf Country Club situated in Cannes-Grasse, is the first Golf Club in France to have installed the Jencess system. St Donat is one of the busiest and most popular Clubs in the French Riviera region, boasting one of the highest number of visitors in France. The Club has an 18 hole Championship course and a 9 hole compact training course. The prestigious Club House includes a Pro Shop, and an exclusive Restaurant, Bar and Terrace over looking a lake.
Radu Stefanescu, Director of St Donat, said “We had been searching for a system for some time within the local market and had even looked at several products from outside of Europe, but none of them suited all of our requirements as well as Jencess.”
The President and creator of St Donat, Mr Benedetti, said “We have been searching for a system with strict controls, detailed reporting and smooth integration between the different sectors of the club. Jencess was the only product that met these requirements with the major additional advantage of offering local French support.”
The second Jencess Installation is the St Philippe Golf Club and Academy - a brand new Golf Club opening near Sophia Antipolis in the South of France in September 2002. St Philippe will extend into an 18 hole course and Academy with a 1000m2 Club House, Estate and Residency for the Academy. The Director of St Philippe, Peter Lewis, said that he wanted to ensure that St Philippe offered the highest quality service to his members and visitors, and after extensive research, felt that only the Jencess Proffice suite would facilitate this. As St Philippe is a public facility, a system that was fully integrated, fast and easy to use was an essential requirement for them to deal efficiently with a large volume of golfers that are anticipated once the Club opens.
