Toronto Club First to Integrate Jencess Connect Suite with GPSI's Inforemer

GPS Industries Signs Popular Canadian Golf Club To Install GPS and Wi-Fi-Enabled Golf Solutions

SARASOTA, Fla.—January 5, 2005 -- GPS Industries, Inc. (OTCBB:GPSN; Frankfurt WKN#:252179), a leading innovator of Wi-Fi wireless and GPS-enabled multimedia communications and management solutions for golf facilities and residential communities, has announces that Toronto-based Mill Run Golf and Country Club will install their Inforemer Wi-Fi GPS golf business solution.

The Mill Run installation is the first sale through GPSI’s Eastern Canadian distribution partner, Synergy Golf Solutions. With 36 holes and more than 75,000 rounds of golf annually, Mill Run is one of Canada’s most popular golf courses. It serves Toronto, Ontario, Canada’s largest city and largest golfing market.

Mill Run will be one of the first golf courses to integrate Inforemer with the Jencess suite of golf management solutions. GPSI announced its partnership with Jencess last week.

“GPS Industries’ Inforemer adds value to every aspect of our golfers’ experience at Mill Run, and also provides powerful back-end management tools to help our team administer the course facilities,” said Dave Cowan, General Manager at Mill Run. “Inforemer enhances practically every core business need we have at the club, including functions such as tournament management, speeding pace of play, assisting food and beverage sales, and providing a platform for internal and external promotions and advertising.”

“With the upcoming integration with Jencess Software, I believe GPS Industries has the foundation for the complete business solution the golf world has been waiting for,” said Mr. Cowan. “There really was no competition.”

GPSI will provide its global positioning system and Wi-Fi wireless-based golf solutions throughout Mill Run and will equip its fleet of 60 golf carts with Inforemer’s 10.4” multimedia display and interactive communication units. GPSI will also provide Mill Run with 15 color handheld display units for golfers who prefer to walk the course. Inforemer is the only GPS system to offer golf courses the choice of both handheld and cart-mount GPS display units.

The Inforemer full management solution will incorporate a complete wireless Wi-Fi communications backbone, encompassing the entire golf facility at Mill Run. “This infrastructure will permit higher levels of service, and improve every aspect of the golfers’ experience,” said Dave Hodgson of Synergy Golf Solutions. “We’re excited to partner with Mill Run as they plan to utilize every aspect of this powerful business solution, showcasing how the technology can contribute to a healthier bottom line for golf courses.”

Mill Run is GPSI’s first of many expected installations following the recent purchase of the GPS golf patents for North America. With the purchase of the exclusive Differential GPS (DGPS) patents for Great Britain, Ireland, France, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Sweden, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Germany, Austria, Australia and Japan, GPSI now owns the patents for all major markets in the worldwide golf marketplace.
